You've made something out of nothing. You're only getting fired up thinking this is an attack on you, when it's just people saying you need to think more on your initial post. Locking this thread because you're in no mind to actually refute.

Even assuming that hosting GBATemp and FileTrip, raffles etc. cost approx. $3000 (they don't), the remainder is $2000. There are 26 active members of staff right now - some of us are writers, some moderate, others work on the IT backbone of the site. Forgetting about who does what and how much that work is worth, that's $77 a pop. If you think this is some kind of highway robbery, let me remind you that right now we're providing content and the infrastructure completely free, and nobody's forcing anyone to donate a penny. You don't have to if you don't want to, but to suggest that we're scamming users is ridiculous.
