Imagine if 10 people thought it'd be too hard to read the whole thread, and it'd be 'easier to ask'. I'm just saying here, but there's a reason people don't like questions that already got answered being asked again.

Personally, I dont really care for it, its very drab and boring. There should be an option to turn the old style back on in your preferences. All this white and grey makes it hard to look at for long periods of time. Its like a white car..all primer, wheres the paint.

It's pretty annoying when you've been working hard and people don't even bother reading your posts, and leave awful comments like this one.
The fact that the old skin is still available was mentionned in the main post and also in the comments...

(edit: I wasnt bitching because you said you don't like the new skin. You're totally free to express yourself... only your remark about turning the old style back seemed a bit out of place)

Maybe this is a bad time to tell you that I have actually switched back to the old skin?

In all honesty, I love the look of the NDSL skin, but it really actually does hurt my eyes after a while. It's just SO white and lacks any real contrast. I'm not sure what it is, but the nice blues are much easier on the eyes than the new whites/greys.

I'd like to throw out a suggestion, not sure if you care, but I suggest just a simple change to the NDSL skin: make the main page background a darker colour. Maybe a dark grey. This will help the other tables stand out more, and make it easier on the eyes with more contrast.

i can't understand why people are complaining... those who dosn't like the new skin can choose the old one anyway... personally, i think this new skin rocks!

btw, if you think it's to bright, then you probably have to high brightness... just lower it a little bit and it will be just perfect for everyone

I also see now that images don't get resized automatticaly when they are too large... I don't know if this used to be the case though...

@Jumpman17 , rom hosting on your own pc isn't very risky, I can know it

Edit: I've found a second error, I hope you guys appreciate it:

When searching for newer posts... I think it's the same as the other 'error', the skin of some error tpl file just isn't correct yet..

Edit 2: Did this error finding bring my closer to my goal?

Ashura: on behalf of myself and the others in this thread I have to say that we would love you forever and ever if it's possible to do another skin option which is exactly the same as this fantastic new one except with a just off-white background to the posts (as in 230 or 240 white instead of 255); just enough to get rid of the eye strain glare while still looking like white.

I'm using the new one anyway cuz it rocks, and this would make it rock even more. Pretty please?

I'm pretty sure all you need to do is change one value in the boards CSS to make the background a darker white, so, you know, our retinas dont burst into flames
