How the hell does this game work?

When someone replies to the thread, I (or someone else if they're the host, like Kingy) input their username and profile picture into the simulator. The simulator is completely random on what happens and who dies and who wins. It's entertaining to watch, which is why we've done 25 rounds of it over the past almost 7 years.

Isn't this too soon? I thought it was a yearly event..
