I have noticed recently people are alot nicer to newer members and the wannabe mods have started getting called out. I am extremely happy that the community realizes that it functions much better when politeness is encouraged instead of smart aleck responses. Anyone else notice improvement or is it just me?

Not sure where grammar comes, but please look at your own grammar before you judge others. I think nuisances like you that have made many issues for several people of this forum.
Most my issues with people on this forum are me confronting bullies and letting them know that their behavior is completely reprehensible and disgusting.I remember in the middle school days bullying was rampant and once I started breaking people's noses people decided that it would be best to move on to easier targets. From that moment forth,I have always took it upon myself to stand up for people that lack the self respect to stand up for themselves. I was in the transitionary period where bullying changed from direct hostility to passive aggressiveness/psychological bullying. Political correctness does not eradicate bullying, all it does is switch it from physical to psychological in the form of excluding others/ignoring them. If you looked into my warnings you would see that 100% of the time someone else started with me and I fired back. Some of the suspensions I got on here are completely unwarranted and nothing more than visceral reactions/me getting banned because someone's feelings were hurt instead of actual rules being broken. My suspensions have been subjective and never objective to the actual rules,I feel like I am unfairly casted as the bad guy when in reality I am nothing more than a man of conviction and integrity. My advice is that if you are going to pick on somebody, find someone that you know for a fact is weaker than you mentally. Picking on people with a strong sense of self is a surefire way to end up in an uncomfortable position. If you got the whole story on my suspensions I think any rational individual would see that most of the times I am preventing myself or others from being victimized. It makes absolute zero sense that people use "reporting" as a way to bully or intimidate when clearly they are the ones spreading the dirt.Ethics and morals are two completely different things and I think once you understand the difference you will be able to make an accurate judgement of my character as an individual. I don't know if anime is your type of thing, but you should watch Berserk to really get a glimpse of the reality that things are not always cut and dry. Not everything that shines is gold.
Most of the issues arise due to teenage angst and normal members trying to police other normal members. I can't speak for everyone here, but it is my personal belief that people want to post on a gaming forum to relax and get a break from the stressors of life after a long day of work/school. Nothing wrong with coming on a gaming forum to chillax after a long day. — Posts automatically merged - Please don't double post! — You already know.
Going by previous threads then if funnystory thinks things are improving then something has likely gone wrong. Time to lower the bar. "normal members trying to police other normal members" You say that like it is a bad thing. There are bad ways to set about it but as a concept it is fine.
Was that the dude that shot some kid under rather suspect conditions/in "self defence"? If so I am not sure how that relates to forums and people telling each other if lines have been crossed.
George zimmerman thought he was a police officer and shot a kid when cops told him to sit in his car. I was just trying to point out that in my point of view it is best to let authorities handle the situation.
