This may not be a big deal to some people but it is to me, since I am still less than a month new here, perhaps a guide to the "ALREADY WELL DEVELOPED" Homebrew coding or programing language of things here for anyone who is new or doesn't know.

Stuff i still don't know what people talk about here is
Bumping threads
"LENNY" (Seriously who or what is it?)
Necro-bumping
Python scripting
C++
Liblogic (Or something)
Kernel Exploit (Now i am hungry for popcorn)

Also there is more stuff like the short abbreviated acronyms, but you get the idea right?

Is just for anyone new who may not understand things that others do. :teach:

Bumping threads
If the last post in a thread was yours, and you post again just to make the topic bump at the top of the thread list in a section to make it more visible, you're bumping it. It's against the rules.
"LENNY" (Seriously who or what is it?)
Fail meme: http://knowyourmeme.com/memes/lenny-face
Necro-bumping
Posting in a thread long dead (6+ months from last post) usually for a stupid reason.
Python scripting
Programming language. Easier than C++.
Programming language. One of the most used in the world.
I presume they're talking about this, but never heard it before: http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=Liblogic
Kernel Exploit
It's something you use to run code, even if you're not supposed to (for example, a locked console). Kernel means that you've got pretty much full power over the platform and you can do whatever you want.
There's another kind of exploit which is the "Userland Exploit", those are way more limited as they give you access only to stuff a normal user would get access to (no awesome hardware-level functions).

python is a programming language

necro bumping is bumping old ass threads

kernel exploits are whats required in a console to have access to most of the system

bumping threads is similiar to necro bumping

edit: sniped

Bumping threads just means replying to a thread, since it bumps it to the top of the forum again. While it's usually fine to do so on relatively recent posts, it's looked down on (and against the rules to) bump incredibly old posts (necro-bumping) or spam posts. Should you see a spam post, you report it. Simples.

I'll leave others to help you with the rest.

edit: lol the ninjas out in full force today

Bumping threads = posting in a thread so it appears before the others
"LENNY" (Seriously who or what is it?) = ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
Necro-bumping = bumping really old threads
Python scripting = "programming" in pyhton (which is a programming language)
C++ = programming language
Liblogic (Or something) = no idea
Kernel Exploit = an exploit that allows you to run unsigned code with unrestricted access to the memory

EDIT: :ph34r::ph34r::ph34r:

libretro is what RetroArch runs on, RetroArch is just a graphical interface I think

Sorry i meant libretro, the thing retroarch is known for.
For future reference, the prefix "lib" in this case is short for "library," as in a set of code that is standardized for a platform to run on

So, for example, RetroArch runs on LibRetro, which is a library that powers and wrangles together a bunch of various emulators for retro consoles

the wiki has a glossary of words and acronyms often used on the forum:
http://wiki.gbatemp.net/wiki/GBAtemp_Glossary
Some are missing, but anyone can add them. Mainly used for forum's terms only. For console's specific words, there are more links at the end of the page.

edit:
I just added bump/bumping/necro-bumping.

Is it possible to create new terms and if popular enough, can be aded to the wiki? :)

I just added "brick" and "iirc," since those were terms I struggled with when I signed up. Now that I know that that wiki is a thing I'll probably start editing it more

Why would you want to create new terms?
The wiki helps users with common, already existing, terms. but if new one are needed (in case of a new console specific release, such as a CFW name, etc.) then it can be added but in the respective console which are linked at the bottom of the wiki page.
