    GBAtemp 2007: Announcements!

Our New Year presents and resolutions!

    GBAtemp 2007
    • Homebrew news now covered !

GBAtemp will now cover homebrew news, with a new box on the portal. The new box shows up on the portal with the default settings, but since you might have already tweaked your portal settings, I'll give you two ways to include the homebrew news on your personal portal:

-> Go to your profile and update your portal settings, or...

-> Click here to activate it automatically! The "homebrew" box will be placed at the top of the page, if you wish to change the order go to your profile.

    • R4 DS Review coming today !

The long awaited R4 DS - "Revolution for DS" - review will be published on GBAtemp in the next few hours. Stay tuned, we'll post news anyway!
    • The GBAtemp Round Tables !

The GBAtemp Knights of the Round tables will regularly post "round tables" about a specific subject. The subject can be member-submitted. What is a round table, you ask? Well, it is an article in which several staff members will post their thoughts, opinions, reflexions on a particular question or subject. Questions like "what is your favorite flash cart?", "your favorite game series", "do you like pie", and so on. Expect the first Round Table in a near future!
    • GBAtemp Homebrew Databases!

As we decided to cover homebrew news, we couldn't miss the occasion to create homebrew databases. To begin with, we've selected what we think are the 40 best NDS homebrew. Of course, we don't know them all, so please forgive us if we missed some good ones! Read our NDS Homebrew database now! Feel free to help us improve this one, and of course to help us build a GBA database!
    • Looking for staff!

As we've just opened this new Homebrew section, we need more staff members to help us post homebrew news (among others). I'll be waiting for your -serious!- applications, so send me a PM. Your applications will be discussed in the staff section and every staff member will have their word!
    • Much, sooo much more!

2007 will be a fantastic year on GBAtemp.net! I'm not allowed to tell you what we've got in store for you, but I can tell you it's going to kick ass. Many new goodies in a not-so-distant future!

All right, I think that's it! Happy new year 2007 to all of you!

It's only the first of January and already GBAtemp's got a ton of new stuff - this year is looking good!

Knights of the Round Table questions are being thought of right now. [IMG]

Nice one, I'm very much looking forward to the extra homebrew news. Homebrew is really what made GBA for me, pocketnes/goomba were so brilliant.

I too am looking forward to that R4 review. This being the same as the M3 will separate the crappy flashcards from the good ones.

Homebrew database is an excellent idea. I always had a hard time even knowing what the heck is out there, let alone where it is!

This is going to be a great year! I'm very glad that I stumbled upon GBAtemp some time ago. It's better than GameFAQs in a lot of aspects.

    Happy New Year everyone!

    P.S.

Thanks for the sig mthrnite! [IMG]

    EDIT:

When can we start introducing questions for the round table? I would like to know...

I'm not sure if you can compare GameFAQ's with GBAtemp.
They're both in a whole different league if u ask me.

Well, the inclusion of Homebrew news and a database for it just owned qj.net, that's for sure [IMG]

Getting sick to death of their "FIRST POST!!11" comments and generally shoddy reporting.
