Make sure to use the hicode branch, as the develop branch is currently somewhat unstable due to the last commit that implemented irq yielding.

the whole of the irq stuff (4 commits), or only the latest one about nesting?

also, do you think a simple change to jit patches could fix emerald soft reset, or it would need more code changes for hicode?

GBARunner2 supports frames but them should be converted to another format, it is a custom format Gericom made, but I can't remember if he shared the tool.

EDIT: Here is the frame I use, you should extract it in sd\_gba\frames

i used pixelmator pro free trial, but you can use anything to create an image. just export as a bmp then go to online-converting (website) to convert to bmp, choose "color: 8 (indexed)" in settings, then upload your file and it will do it automatically. the resulting file should be around 50kb i think

Its been a few years since I last checked this thread - looks like a lot of game have had a bunch of improvement and working compatibility!

Any chance a game like specifically... 'Harry Potter - Quidditch World Cup' will ever get fixed for ds flashcart use, and not just on the main system's SD card?

bonjour à tous je voudrais jouer à Pokémon émeraude sur r4 avec gbarunner2 et j'ai le meme probleme que citer plus haut en premier commentaire.
J'ai eu beau lire tout les commentaires je n'ai strictement rien compris. Quelqu'un aurait la gentillesse de bien vouloir me partager son dossier complet que je n'aurai plus qu'a mettre sur une sd formater afin de pouvoir y jouer svp? je ne suis pas assez à l'aise informatiquement pour comprendre toutes les manips de codes à faire et je tiens vraiment à jouer à se jeu en particulier, je n'arrive pas à trouver d'autre émulateur gba pour nds que gbarunner2.

where do you put the frontend.nds as well as the gbarunner3.nds if you're using twilight menu?

with twilightmenu I think you would use the twilightmenu version of the frontend, and leave gbarunner3.nds in the emulators folder

then you can probably run the frontend from wherever you want

To run it, you need:
- `TwilightMenu++ 26.1.1` or higher already installed in your SD card/flashcard.
- Move your previously compiled `GBARunner3.nds` inside `/_nds/TWiLightMenu/emulators` folder in your SD card.
- Get (on your own) retail GBA bios, rename it as `bios.bin` and put it inside the `/_gba` folder in your SD card.
- Get the configs folder from the repository you cloned, copy it inside of the `/_gba` folder, it should be `/_gba/configs`.
- Write `GBARUNNER3_TEST = 1` text line under the `[SRLOADER]` section in `/_nds/TWiLightMenu/settings.ini`
- If you're using a flashcard, compatibility has been fixed, so will be able to run this as well.

What are the differences between gbarunner2 and gbarunner2 dsl enhanced. And is the gbarunner3 frontend neccesary to use gbarunner3?

I dont know about gbarunner2, but you need a frontend for gbarunner3 and always will

if you have twilight menu then twilight menu is your frontend for it already, so you dont have to worry about that

I'd like to take screenshots in GBARunner2. I found "Add screenshot taking #230" on GitHub (I'd link, but this is a brand new account) but I don't understand how to download and implement it. I am using TWiLight Menu++ on my 3DS.
If this is the wrong place to ask this question please let me know and I'll ask it in the appropriate place.

Not officially released yet. But you can try some of the builds that have been made in the pinned message channel on discord. They said they will release DSPico first, then release gbarunner3 afterwards.
