The GBA videos don't work on the Game Boy Player, they use the logo to detect it and if they do, stop running. Whether it's because of fears of GBA video being recorded onto tape or that the quality would look bad on a TV... don't you ever wish you could watch them on GBP anyway? No? Whatever.

Instructions:
These are xdelta patches. You can use your favourite xdelta patcher to patch your own rom dump with the corresponding xdelta patch. With xdelta3 on the terminal, you can use this command:
Code:
xdelta3 -d -s dump.gba patch.xdelta patched.gba
replacing the file names with the correct ones.

These romhacks are for the regular Majesco videos. The movies run on a different engine, so do the Pokémon videos. They might be worked on in the future. The movies as well as Disney V2 also use a 512 mbit rom with a mapper, which doesn't work on most flashcarts. In the case of Disney the extra space isn't used for anything at all, so it just seems to be a desperate attempt at copy protection, since it was the last regular cart released. I'd like there to be a patch to make it work as a regular 256 mbit cart, but that'll be a lot more difficult. Also, these don't currently have patches:

Cartoon Network Collection - Special Edition (Rev 5) (normal does)
Strawberry Shortcake - Summertime Adventure - Special Edition

These patches were made rather crudely in a hex editor, simply by corrupting enough bytes of the logo to make it display incorrectly, this is enough to prevent the GBP from being detected. It didn't seem to cause any problems, but if there are, please tell me. There seem to be 3 distinct versions of the engine Majesco used, that handle the logo differently, so how it's bypassed depends on the version. On what I termed the v1 engine, the logo was defaced to read "Not compatible with Game Boy" (not untrue!) On v2, it doesn't display. On v3, it displays very quickly.

I made these patches earlier this year, but forgot to release them until now. Sorry!

(Edit: Forgot to mention my justification! Short ver: I know you can just bypass this for everything with Game Boy Interface, but not everyone wants to.)

    Hi,

You won't get an official response from Microsoft on these forums. You're better off writing to them.

Xbox consoles are typically manufactured by Foxconn, a Taiwanese corporation which has a very large factory in Shenzhen, People's Republic of China. Foxconn also has factories in Europe, Japan, Brazil, India and Mexico, but as I understand it, consoles are
