    It's a simple question.

If I have a GBA SP model AGS-001, could I get a replacement AGS-101 screen and have it work with the rest of the 001? Or would I be stuck buying a 101 with their meh colors?

No, it will not work at all. Won't power on. Sorry.

The best you can do AFAIK is to buy an AGS-101 and just throw all of its guts into an AGS-001 body. But IMO it'd be cooler to have an original GBA (AGB-001) with a backlit screen, and there used to be kits online that would allow AGS-101 screens to work in them.

That's a damn shame, because the 001s had better colors but the 101s have a sexy backlit screen.

    Oh well.
