Is it possible with the G6Lite to transfer pokemon through Pal Park [basically, GBA ROM -> legit DS cart] without a retail GBA cart?

It's not possible like that. You might want to try to backup your DS cart and put it on your G6Lite and link the 2 games using G6. You probably need to hex edit the game manager though.

If they updated the manager and got the linkage working, it could work solely with G6. And if that was the case, you could then transfer your g6 save to a legit ds game afterward. But so far it's not possible.

The ONLY way to migrate pokemans to a legit DS cart is with a legit GBA pokemon cart. This will probably never change. You can transfer a save from a DLDI compatible slot 2 flashcart to a legit GBA pokemon game with the GBA Game Save Backup Utility.

Currently, the only way to migrate pokemans from a GBA flashcart is to use an EZ-V and an EZ-Flash 3-in-1.

It looks like the patch is not working yet, but it probably will be soon. Until it does work, my statements remain true.

edit: I must have missed the second page of that thread, it does appear to be working.

Even when it does work, you will still not be able to migrate pokeymans to a legit DS pokeyman cart.

The workaround I described in the other thread where you recreate the pokemon in pokesav will get you identical results, not bad considering there's no alternative.
