Hey guys, I'm just doing a bit of a repair for some corrosion and this tiny component labelled "c41" has snapped off when I was dissolving via vinegar. I think its a surface mount ceramic capacitor. any suggestions for a fix? no light, no sound, no screen so I'm not surprised if it's dead, but obviously if this is a vital part that is to be expected. I haven't got too much experience but I can solder if neccesary.

Thanks for the replies!

Please provide a picture.

Vinegar is mostly water and contains acid – both corrosive. My feeling tells me that acid will do no good on metals/electronics. Please use isopropyl for cleaning electronics.
