hi I recently bought this ruby copy, but I found that most of the GBA games are not legitimate, and I was wondering I'd any one could help me? I also added my firered game, because that's another one that's more hacked then others
I'm sorry about quality, I own an android phone
(cartridges are also old so the stickers are a bit scuffed)

There are a multitude of guides out there you can easily find with Google that will tell you how to identify an authentic cartridge.

I was going to suggest the screw position is a dead giveaway, but I'm not entirely certain.

lol

anyway get yourself a triwing screwdriver and take them apart, firered at a glance looks fake af because of the color, but that could just be the lighting making it appear darker than it should

the pcb should shed a lot more light than just the outer casing, because that's easy to fake

The one with the tri-wing screw is most likely genuine, the opposite goes for the one with the regular (Phillips head) screw.
