I read somewhere on the forums that you can convert a gba rom into nds format, put it in your slot 1 flashcart and play it if you have a slot 2 flashcart, I can't seem to find this topic again, if anyone knows the name of this tool, I'd really appreciate it [IMG]

    Thanks in advance.

All that program did was patch in a bootloader that loaded the gba rom into slot2 and rebooted into gba mode, nothing that other homebrew tools can't do alot better.

It's called NDStation. It only works with the first 3-in-1 chipset though, so if your 3-in-1 is anywhere near recent, it won't work. I believe version 1.1 was the latest one to work correctly; later versions appended the GBA game twice for some reason.

It's my program, and I really wouldn't recommend using it. It's old and hasn't been updated in quite a while. I have a somewhat finished (read: everything but DS-side decompression) version on my hard drive, but I haven't found the time to finish it up. The new version is much more stable and efficient than the previous versions, as well.

it is a nds app, that takes a gba rom and copies it to a slot-2 card.

SLOT-2 is the one labelled SLOT-2. If you for some reason can't read that but can read this, it's the one on the bottom, which you plug GBA carts and certain accessories into.
