    Hello everyone !

Firstly, I apologise if I'm not at the right place.

I am about to purchase some items to mod my old GBA and I have some questions. I will begin by presenting what I will buy/use :
    .
    IPS ready GBA shell case
IPS V2 kit (with 32/40 pin, glass screen, electronic wires)
    Mount position for the screen
    CleanAmp v1.1
    Puresilence mod for audio CleanAmp
    Dehum dehiss kit fix audio

Yet I have some questions :

Is it a good set up ? Is there absolutely unecessary pieces ?
    How many dehum/dehiss should I buy ?
I don't really want to go on a rechargeable battery mod (about 1700 mah) because I am wondering how will my GBA react to 2*3.7 - 9800 mah batteries. Will there be some damage ? Will the GBA take it smoothly ? Should I install something to make it safe and avoid overheat ?

The IPS ready screen isn't really necessary if you have a good craft knife or dremel.

I have a 101 screen in my gba with a 2000mah lithium battery, it's battery time is almost 17 hours so 9600mah would be a bit overkill in my opinion.

Maybe you should take a look at the page of Makho on YouTube, his videos might be long but you will learn a lot.

Well, after some searching, it looks like the products i want would be good enough.

Thank you koffieleut for your answer !

I have very minimal tools, that's the reason of the ready screen/kit.

Also, I tend to play GBA so I am wondering how I could use 9800 mah safely.

I saw some of Makho's videos and his channel.
It's a lot of usefull information for initated modder, but I am a totalnewbie so I don't even understand the goal of mostof his work. ^^'

My main issue lies with the battery, it's amount of mah, and it's safety.

I've modded a GBA and GBC, and the IPS ready shell for the GBA made things a lot easier to line up and install. I didnt need any extra tools, and would buy another precut shell for my next project

The precut GBC shell, on the other hand, still needed some trimming. I would highly reccomend getting some flush cutters and a file for that one.
