I was wondering has there been any progress in understanding how the GBA Link function works? If so. would it be possible to see online via link cable emulation ever?

I think you can use netplay somehow with the latest version of VBAlink: http://vbalink.wz.cz/
You might have to use an app to set up a virtual LAN or something though.

I heard the VBA link cable emulation might work online. Not quite sure how it does it though. Last I checked, it was only through LAN but oh well, I don't have the latest version of the emu.

Um... are you talking about GBA games that would use the link cable instead using the DS's wireless hardware? Seems tough.

Oh yeah, do games that used the GBA wireless adapter like fire red and leaf green work on DS local multiplayer?

imgod22222 , i don't think so, but it would be awesome if they did or if someone developed a hack to allow games to use ds's wifi.
