I've been playing Wario Ware on my cellphone for the last 3 weeks or so, It's getting boring [IMG] so, what other games do you guys think could be enjoyed on a cellphone?, what matters here is the controls, my cellphone isn't made for games, so it's really hard to play most of the action/adventure/platform games, some games that I've found easy to play are:

    *The Pinball of the Dead
    *Bookworm
    *Super Mario Pinball
*The Legend of Zelda ALTTP -kinda hard at some points-
    *Advance Wars

So basically slow-paced games and/or games that can be played with the pad + 1 button at a time.
Any help would be appreciated [IMG].

Sweet, I didn't know there was a GBA emulator for cell phones.

Go through the Pokemon games, they should be simply to control.
Also, get some of the Classic NES series games that got ported to the GBA on your cell phone.
Also, Tetris Worlds would work out fine.

    Have fun [IMG]

Yeah, I agree with JPH, Pokemon would be sweet!

Offtopic, but does this really burn through your battery life?

I tried PKMN, it felt so slow and the fact that I can't possibly get all the pokemons -without cheating- it's a bummer.

Well it does use more battery than playing a regular cellphone game but...y'know GBA is GBA
it's more demanding on the RAM memory actually.

    Thanks guys.

    P.S.

The newest version supports save states which is awesome and really useful [IMG]

VBag is AWESOME. I found it through some phone warez site though... I finished Pokemon Leaf Green on my phone...

Mario and Kirby games would be perfectly fine. Tried playing Metroid?

To science - the emulator can burn through your battery life, as with any other high power app.

    DK King of Swing
    Polarium Advance
    Pinball Challenge Deluxe

Can't think of others right now that would be easy to play on a phone.

Castlevania: Harmony of Dissonance XD Seriously, you should try it even on a cell phone. If you like Yu-Gi-Oh or other card games, get Stairway to the Destined Duel (Worldwide Edition or something).

If you don't mind puzzle games Guru Logic Champ might work, depending on the size of your phone's screen. The boxes might get a bit tiny but the controls would be perfect on a phone.

Any RPG (Golden Sun wink, wink) should work as they're not too fast paced.

I have a NOKIA 6133 flip phone and it has a mini sd card slot on it.

Can my phone support this, and would it work like crap?

I'd kill to be able to use this and would definitely buy any parts for my phone to do so. As is I have Lumines Mobile, Mega Man 2, (default install) Snake 3, Kasparov Chess, and Arkanoid on there. From playing with those the system can handle multiple sfx+music at the same time, DS level 3D capabilities too, and seems to handle 2D smoothly too.

If this can work please say so I'm goin to get me some parts to jack this into the usb port and goin to town on this.

Well, your phone seems to be from the Series 40 and Vampent has been developing his emulators only for S60 running symbian [IMG]
There's however a NES emulator written on JAVA, that one should work.

Hah and 20min after you post I figured the same thing out doing some weird google searching because the POS manual don't say. :\

That is depressing but not entirely. What is this NES emulator I can look into? I'm tempted to learn more to see if my phone is beefy enough for it (or if it was coded well so it's smooth) as I can think of a few fun gems to mess with on there (non-platformers as those are crap on a dialpad.)

I did a google search and found NESCube mentioned on some website? That it?

    HEY! Also found a GB/C emulator that'll work on a S40 phone too that's Java based too:v
    http://arktos.se/meboy/ (MEBoy) and it's free...

Yes but vnes that you linked is the same one from vampant that requires a S60 phone.

NESCube needs a s40 which I have, as does that other.

From what I can find NESCube seems to have a 'final' version which was 1.2, but then they decided to streamline it a lot, increase abilities and speed so more phones run smooth ...did a tester on 2.1 and then re-finalized it again earlier this year as 2.3. From the look of it, it's russian made or something from the cryllic I think that website has on it that is the homepage.

Ah did wonder about that. I'm tempted to go out and get a usb cable to give this a shot, and if it works, then drop $20 on a 1GB mini-sd. Even if I got sick of the games I could jam a ton of music or something on there.
