The 3in1 is designed to be used with the slot-1 EZ-V flash cart. However, by launching GBA ExpLoader you can use the 3in1's features on other slot-1 devices as well. That's really all it is.

The 3in1 will be useless to you if you do not already have a slot-1 device.

Yes I have an edge ds.

Thanks guys, another question, does anybody know a good NES emulator for ds I can use, link to download it. I have the SNES one but I also want a NES emulator to play certain NES games.

    Thanks in advance!

NES DS is your best bet, get it from the GBATemp download center.

There are 3 to choose from, which one is the best? They are:

    NesDS WIP v1 7/22/2006
    NesDS MOD 12/15/07
    nesDS (7/31/2007)

The last one is the "official" one, so that's probably what you'd want. The modded version just lets you use button combinations for saving and loading so you don't have to use the touchscreen for it (as NES DS has rather buggy touchscreen code).
