Hacking GBA console hacking?

I was just thinking this morning, wouldn't it be cool if someone hacked the GBA/GBC/GBP and did stuff like adding SGB mode support, a homebrew system menu that can enable action replay codes etc. I'm especially keen on the SGB idea as I've sold my SGB

I had hoped one of the people doing something like the k101 (hardware clones/remakes) would head down this sort of path, sadly nobody has really gone there yet. The GBA has basically no system menu/boot code beyond the cart and the link port.

You are better off finding something with a GBA emulator really.

K, I won't worry about it then. All my SGB games besides Engrish Pokémon Green can either be played on the GB Tower or have GBC modes anyway.

Though I suppose the GB Player might be hackable through modifying the bootdisc software.
