Finally finished this little one, makes me proud! I bought ugly and sticky (yuck) GBA online and took out the board to brand new case with buttons, rubers, glass front and even customized stickers. Everything is from Aliexpress (including the ez flash lol), works and feels good. The screen was from China as well, looks good IMO, I didn't want to salvage an AGS-101.

Very nice :) I'm planning on doing my first AGB-101 mod as well soon, is there any advice you could give me? How did you go about trimming the case?

Thanks, I used a knife designed for cutting plastic, not sure how it is called in English, this is how it looks:

Lol, I actually only knew about sound restoration and I did not apply it (I don't mind gba version). If I apply the patch now, my save file will be screwed?

Most of those should not bother the save file; it is mostly translations, additions and massive rewrites that bother saves, simple bugfixes and things that aim to be transparent tend not to worry anything like that. However I have not checked all of them in that list. In any case keep a backup of your save file just in case.
