Okay, so I updated my Gateway's emunand to get the 9.5 update in order to download my Monster Hunter DLC, and just realized that I most likely can't use cubic ninja on my gateway to load homebrew.
Is there a workaround for this? I know downgrading to 4.5 is one way but I'm not sure if I should do that, plus I'd like another way if possible.

Also, for extra information, I have a backup of my NAND. So...
1. Maybe it's possible for me to just restore my NAND whenever I want to go back to GW 9.2?
2. Maybe I can format my emunand and it puts me back on 9.2 automatically?
I don't know exactly but it sounds pretty plausible.

If your sysnand is 9.2, then formatting emuNAND will put you on 9.2

Thank you so much for the extra information. I'm not really new to Gateway but it was my first time actually updating my emunand. Now I know. I could format back to 9.2 now but I'm lazy and I don't have much use for ninjahax YET.

You can keep your 9.5 emuNAND SD card as an update card and install CIA's on it as well. Then purchase (or use if you have one) a second SD card for simple 9.2 emuNAND for homebrew. I have this as well with my NAND's unlinked allowing me to transfer my legitimate eShop stuff over to a New3DS sys or emuNAND when I'm ready to pull the trigger.

Also sorry to make you feel bad but you can get the monster hunter 4 dlc in game without updating...soooo yea, for next time
