Hacking Gateway releases the MD5 for all their launchers and files.

Since Gateway threads are all the rage nowadays, here's something actually useful. Those of you using official gateway software should double and triple check your Hash(browns) to make sure you don't get bricked if you didnt already.

You can install http://implbits.com/hashtab.aspx. It's pretty nice because it adds the functionality to Windows instead of having to run a separate program.

Nintendo? No. They wouldn't ruin sales, if they destroy systems they lose sales and potential future customers. it's better leave them pirate then destroy their system and make them lose their trust in a big company like that.

but that wouldn't matter cause they could downloaded it from the website and claimed that was indeed the launcher.dat file so there isn't a real way to verify who is telling the truth and who is lying

Well, it does match the md5 everyone who's been bricked has posted, so I doubt that.
