Hacking Gateway problem

Hi guys i have a 3ds on firmware 4.5.0-8E and gateway omega 2.2 and it all works fine ie playing games etc but when i am on gateway mode and try entering settings to see the gateway firmware or anything else it just stays on the 3ds black splash screen ,i also have a 3ds xl and it does the same thing ... is it supposed to do this ?

yeah system settings and eshop are not working with 7.2

If you're on emunand 7.2.0 then it won't work, gateway hasn't implemented the new security keys yet.
