1. I'm trying to play Final Fantasy I & II Dawn of Souls on the Game Boy Advance emulator in the Blue Gateway card. I have the Multi kernal 1.02. When I start up Final Fantasy, the game starts shows Square Enix smooth but after that, it gets super slow for some odd reason.

1. Boot gbaemu.nds
2. Select Final Fantasy game
3. Select gbafile (start emu)
4. gbaemu DS for r4i gold (3ds) (rdlds.cn) by ichgfly, pressed A
5. Select "SaveTypeAutomatic"
6. gbaemu DS for r4i gold (3ds) (rdlds.cn) by ichgfly. fps 60/1
7. Select A for autovsync (tried B also)
8. Videosyncline 159
9. Select advirqsound
10. gbaemu DS for r4i gold (3ds) (rdlds.cn) by ichgfly. Warning: You try to run gbaemu DS on R4(DS) - Revolution for DS (V2) gbaemu may not work. Continue and ignore.

What do?

GBA emulation is far from perfect on a DS, even with a DSTWO flash cart (although the DSTWO accellerated emulator is better).

A GBA/NDS console and a GBA flash cart (EZ-Flash IV) is your best bet. Alternatively emulate on a more powerful host platform such as a modern mobile phone or PC.
