Hacking Gateway 3DS working on the New Nintendo 3DS.

Hey guys did you receive an email from Nintendo to buy in advance a New 3DS Ambassador ?

Hi, I got the email this morning as well, some timing as I'd decided last night that today was the day I bite the bullet and buy a N3DS XL.

I'm tempted because I'm a sucker for a LE but ultimately I think dropping down in screen size from my 3DS XL would be too much for me.
I've given myself an hour to decide, more coffee, more morphine and maybe I'll be able to decide lol.

On the subject of buying, can anyone suggest somewhere other than 365, Play Asia who are both out of stock, eBay who I hate and Amazon where its £250 that I might just have to end up paying because I have all the patience of, well, an impatient thing.

I've got my money on the the Tuesday release. I've read (almost) every email, and post on this thread. It seems like the video that was posted back in November had the same exact features from the private beta info that was recently released. This proves the exploit has been functional since Nov, but only for 9.2 FW. Since the beta was released around new years, they obviously completed the exploit for all firmwares below 9.2 at the time of Christmas(justifying the so-called Christmas new years release delay) . Personally I think the whole payload and WiFi connection requirement was the hurdle that delayed the release so far. We should keep in mind that although setting up servers isn't necessarily a time consuming task, they were, and are still being attacked by outside sources (other flashcart competition supposedly). The payload process must be made secure as possible to prevent a mass brick from an unexpected server take down.

Regarding release dates, the numerous emails received indicate that the release must be Tuesday (EST), judging from how they slowly became more and more specific to the deadline of Wednesday/Tuesday night. Let's keep in mind that the 18 of Jan email is outdated, so it's unlikely to stretch that far.

Gateway has not left us in the shadows to make a quick buck. This release will happen.

its annoying for me because i only bought gateway in november because i misread 9.0-9.2 firmware update coming soon and thought it was out because i saw a video, this made me buy the new 3ds xl when my gateway arrived i tried to set it up on my original 3ds and thats when i knew i fucked up, but i didnt think i'd be waiting this long, i can only play smash bros so much before i have enough

They seem to be replying in "Chunks" as I like to call it.
They seem to write a new email at each end of a work day, with possibly a tiny update on progress and a new "waiting" word.

What I find kinda ironic is they stated they DON'T wanted to make a quick shameless buck, but now that's exactly what people think they did.
The irony is by not rushing the product they emphasized exactly on the one thing they didn't want people to think.

I think by now we can all agree that the update is real, we have been given enough hints, SonyUSAs post really brought some confidence back to us.
But the wait is simply killing. If it won't be out by Thursday they might as well release it in March because I won't have time for it anyways...

We really should've known by last year not to get our hopes up when the Gateway team says "soon".
The problem is us believing it can hit any day now, because their "support" even supports that belief.
But it looks like they finally realized they do more harm than good by replying to mails which is why we barely have gotten any responses in the last couple days.
At least I hope that's why.
