No they don't care about when they release it because they want to make sure it's working as best they can before release.
Release a buggy product and bad reviews will be all over the internet, release a good product and people will write good things and recommend your product.
Irrelevant to what I was saying however. They've stated the software is ready, and have given mulitple "due" dates that have all missed the mark. Consumers are getting pretty upset now, me included, so by my stating that telling them a return/refund is happening it would intice them to think more about their actions and give a better communication to everyone regarding the product.
