Or worse. It could brick. This is why they're taking so long. If by some reason the servers crash and there's dozens of users in the midst of the download, they'll most likely end up with bricks. It's not good at all.

I can pick my new 3DS up tomorrow after I pay the customs charge, I'm gonna go ahead and play mgs 3D, see if the c-stick works as a circle pad, or whether I need to use ABXY to look around... Hopefully not, or I may as well use my normal 3ds with the circle pad which would suck -.-

I'd like to use the gateway in the new 3ds when I pick it up, but I'm not hugely fussed since I'll be playing games anyway.

Also I like how people's opinions, personal guesstimates and joke comments are all being taken very seriously haha. People need to simmer down in here and just learn to wait, I'm pretty sure we all have a backlog of games we wanted to play that aren't on the 3DS, go play those dammit. This is ample opportunity.

I think they will be faster than the n3ds release. But it'll probably be close. Because, y'know... Gateway are slow as hell. I bet my hat on it

You really don't want a server to fail on you whilst downloading something rather important to your console.

Even if it's leaked, Gateway can stop it easily, seeing as it requires their server. Also SonyUSA said he was asked by Gateway regarding what kind of 3DS he had and the firmware and they sent him the appropriate QR code. So this isn't something that can be easily leaked.
