The thing is, most people that want this are on 9.2, and those that arent can easily upgrade to it. So this backwards support for 5.x to 8.x is retarded waste of time. Time that couldbe spent in other areas to improve them. This support for emunand is also (while more useful) is not as critical as being able to just load Roms, face it, thats what 90% of people want to do and wont be doing anything else with the card.
So if they have something that can simply load games (even if region locked), that would satisfy 90% if not more of their customers. They can add other features later. But currently they are pissing off 100% of their customers.
Fine, if they want to add all these features 1% of their users will use, then they should at least give realistic time frames. Honestly (since they already posted that they are working on a release), its WAAAAY better for them to not reply to any emails, than reply to them saying "few days" for weeks on end. That makes them lose ALL credibility in their words, they cant be trusted with what they say, they have proven that. Its much better to not say anything, than say that you are going to do something and then not do it!

Edit: nvm, I think it's more likely that some mod of GBATemp deleted them or they just went down. I don't think they would be broken then.
If they did not reply to anything people would think they ran with the money.
I agree 8.1 and below is stupid, but they always want to deliver everything 100% compatible.
Also, a lot of people bought JN3DS and need region unlock, so don't treat their product appealing only to the kids that pirate since those would have already bought a Sky3DS.
9.2 includes 9.0 support. Since they said 9.0-9.2 support. Its after that they started coming up with excuses that they are working on other versions too. Dont super smash brothers have 9.0 update? If not, then games will very soon.
I agree that March or April is the cut off point for me. But I'd rather they release it when it's ready rather than go all half cocked. I'm happy to wait because I haven't bought one yet, and because of that I've also got the option of waiting for the DSTWO+. And in the meantime I've got plenty of legit games to keep me busy.

This "support for everything" is moot, as they arent supporting anything beyond 9.2... honestly I dont see people with 3DSs on 5.x through 7.x even being around anymore. If they arent on 4.5 why wouldnt they be on latest?
And as far as running with the money. They already made a post saying they are working on it. Lying with false promises doesnt make customers any more secure with the future of the product than silence (with the post that they are working on it).
Borrow, rent, etc... there are A LOT of ways to do so for very cheap. Consider it part of the investment, you pay for Gateway dont you? Just add two dollars to that investment for renting the game.
