Hacking Gateway 3DS working on the New Nintendo 3DS.

How do you know that GW doesn't have something similar to bootmii for 3DS? It's possible that they might just be scrapping emuNAND altogether in favor of another system.

As long as I can't brick my sysNAND, I'm fine. I don't have the money to buy another freaking 3DS XL. The whole point of me getting a gateway is so I can get games for free, since I don't have much money for them at the moment.

And, because there's also some games that look like they're worth less than what they actually are. Tomodachi Life is hilarious, but I'm not willing to spend $20-$40 on it.

Well I didn't ride on the bandwagon on launch of the first gateway 3ds but I know they didn't had emunand back then.

btw, i dont have a hacked 3DS but why dont people just refrain from using .CIA files? They're more of a hassle to go through with it seems anyways.
The real problem on release is gonna be noone is gonna be able to dump their own personal ROMs for a couple months, so no private headers for us 9.x'ers.

Why not do a NAND mod? Surely that will give you your "Second layer of protection"

What also kind of sucks is that i never had a choice between which 2 flashcarts (Gateway vs Sky3DS) to choose, it had to be Gateway because i wanted to play USA region games on my JNN3DSLL. Lol, whatever. The update is "around the corner" maybe middle of June? idk

No, the main issue with updating is usually that you can't go into the eShop unless you are in the latest version. If you get update .cias then you will be fine.

Basically it's hearsay (ALL of the emails are, none are basically confirmed) saying they should have it out be January 18th. Its probably somewhere in this shitstorm of a thread.

On a bright note, i have a USA 2DS i can get a Sky3DS for. But when i have this sexy MH4G New 3DS LL that thing feels like plastic. Not literally, cause it kind of is made out of cheap plastic.
