Heard about that too, a lot of that news got "harmonized" or censored so I'm not too certain myself. But that was way over in Shanghai. Best asking a Chinese person or someone who keeps up with the news, haha.

Wrong. You can install the updates as .cia files - but thats kind of risky even though it would most probably work. As I mentioned before there are ROMs online with the updates embedded in them so theres no need for eshop.

well we could import from there but maybe it never come XD(being lost or trapped in Curitiba :B maybe ate by caphibaras?) the good thing is that our come with ans 15 GB SD card ... not sure if good quality XD (I know hat we can get the GW and it for much cheaper... but :B )

It's been confirmed by sonyUSA (a beta tester i guess) that this update for the time being will not include emunand.

I belive nothing until the official release lol
