It will support .cia installation which means you will be able to play online. The only draw back is installing a .cia on an actual system nand can brick your system if you don't know what you're doing, but the way I see it, if you are in any way capable of following a tutorial then it shouldnt be an issue. It seems to be about as dangerous as installing cios on wii and vwii which while potentially dangerous was actually quite easy when following a guide.

TL;DR if you are willing to take a little risk then yes it will support online play.

    If your throat closes, putting oxygen in your mouth will not solve anything - as you will be introducing oxygen prior to the area of obstruction
