When they lie to us I'll agree with you, but they haven't lied. Until then they've proven over years that they are trustworthy. Slow, but trustworthy nonetheless.
There's no need to keep claiming they're liars just because you're impatient.

I'm a huge procrastinator too lol, but some people are acting like we, the consumers, shouldn't get angry when a company keeps pushing their release date further and further back.

I don't mean about the release. They will probably release it eventually but they said things like "in a few days", "just around the corner" and "matter of days" just to keep us on hook. And that's a lie in my book.

Hypothetically... What if it turned out the delay was because they were trying to make it work on 9.4? If Gateway covered all previous FW and ALSO 9.4, wouldn't that pretty much crush the competition? After all, Sky3DS and its clones' claims to fame are their compatibility with the latest firmware.

Like I said to me what they did is equivalent to a lie. Only because you cute up a lie by tossing in ambigious terms it doesn't become automatically not a lie to me.
Everyone has a different perception of what is a lie and what is not. To me they lied. If you are ok with what they're doing and did, I guess you are just an easier customer than I am.

The Sky3DS does not has the features I need. But I consider buying a 4.5 3DS XL to escape this insanity.
It's just that I know I'll regret it when the update comes after all. I got already three 3DS lying around I don't need a fourth...

Ambiguity is exactly that. If I say I might bake you a cake, and then I don't, I didn't lie.

Well in your mind you set a date and they didnt release it by that imaginary date so youre acting all pissed. If you were on their place you would do the exact same thing, I guarantee you. "Soon" is the best they could keeping in mind that they sell too. Tha main thing is that the update is coming, if the guys before us waited 5 fucking months I cant see why some people cant man up and wait a little longer instead of acting like spoiled children....

But I kinda really hate the standard 3DS after I started using my XLs and I just got personal plans with the 9.2 release. I'm not being selfish at all. Trust me.
I want the 9.2 release if anything for everyones benefit.
