Yep. Just use Classic Mode.

Its a small hack team, working on a large project.

They are playing more at the Kernel level with what they do, whereas game development your given a set of APIs to work with.

Have you tried developing your own kernel from scratch? Worked with Assembly? Hex editing?

There's a lot of things that can go wrong.

Take a look at what happened with Dolphin Emulator earlier this year. There was always a bug playing Wind Waker on it where fire caused odd effects in Dragon Roost cavern, and the only thing that was wrong was that someone used a wrong Hex in the code a long time ago. All it took was one small thing to mess everything up, and a small fix to fix it.

Things like this come up all the time, and its not fun. Believe me, I have contributed to many open source emulators and working at lower levels like that can be very time consuming and painful.

They're working on a much bigger project, so they should know more that delays will happen, and give an actual possible date rather than continuously pushing it further back

But no instead they had to start this farce, and only to keep people from buying Sky3DS. I suppose more people went out buying a Sky3DS now out of spite than anything,
they lost more customers if they would've just been honest. The only thing that hasn't happened yet is the exposure of the video as a fraud...
It's almost romantic how much drama and conspiracy this all has, but at this point it's starting to lose its charme for me. Even if it would come out right now I probably wouldn't even care that much anymore...

Yes, actually I am a programmer and have made games on Xbox360/One and PlayStation 3/4 and DS/3DS actually.. and no... you always have dadlines and milestones. you know when you will be done. you dont have "emergency come up OMG huge delay".... and if you do, its not "one every 2 days for a month".

In a large company working with high level APIs where you can cut and chop as many features as you want to fit in the timescale.
No time to refractor some inefficient code? Cut that. No time to fix an edge case bug? Cut that.

This is an embedded product, not a game and in the embedded world you have 1 feature and you have to make sure it works right the first time.
Because if that 1 feature doesn't work correctly, ie. Rom loading, then you don't have a product at all. Trust me, "when it's done" is a lot more common deadline in embedded software.

My guess is that the lady with red nails is still looking for her nail polish thats why they're late at making the release video. They can't release this product without her....its all her fault.

I don't mean about the release. They will probably release it eventually but they said things like "in a few days", "just around the corner" and "matter of days" just to keep us on hook. And that's a lie in my book.
