I just bought a SupercardDSTWO to boot the red card and play DS games. You could also use a R4i 3DS card.

I couldn't take it anymore.... found a SW10XX 3ds Red/Black XL BNIB at a local the source who price matched walmart to $140! It was the only the source in my province showing one in stock and I drove 3 hours there and back to get it. It had 4.2 on it! Feel like the luckiest guy right now.... although I do really want to try the Aus N3DS stable 3D so I'm still waiting with everyone else =/
