They didn't even say that, they replied to "this year or 2015" with "no problem at all" that doesn't mean "jan 1st" in any way.

The original email is in the image, nobody mentioned Jan 1st at all.
You asked "this year or in 2015" and they said "no problem at all" which isn't an answer, because this year/early 2015 is their already-stated release window.

Hey guys long time reader first time poster, quick question is there a program which can batch convert .3ds to .cia

I made something that speeds up the process, but you still have to generate xorpads on a physical 3DS for every .3ds file you want to convert. It's here.
If you already own something on the eShop and you just want a .cia version of it, you can use FunkyCIA.

I have a pal Xl on fw 9.4 and a pal new 3ds on 9.0. If I leave the new 3ds on fw 9.0 and wait for the new gateway firmware to be released will it then be possible to do a sys transfer?

If emuNAND is supported in the new update, you should be able to do a system transfer while in Gateway mode.

Yes but I do not even have a 3DS/2DS. I selled mine old one bcause my bro has done 9.4 update.

So I am waiting this update and if there isn't EmuNAND for 7.x-9.2 FW, I'll don't buy a new device.
I'm pretty optimist but I saw that all features have been revealed except EmuNAND...
