They already have it working - all the work being done now is packaging it for release and adding support for lower FW.

What I'm surprised about, has no one mailed GW about this mess yet?
I mean it would be at least nice to have it confirmed that it's a server error and not that they really just chickened out.

Some people are so stupid, just because the site was rolled back to a previous version != GATEWAY IS DEAD / ARE SCAMMERS. They didn't specifically delete their post claiming a 'soon', we know this because of the differences to both the re-sellers and update pages which would not change if they simply wanted erase there previous message. But would if the current web pages are from a backup.

It should be blinding obvious that this is simply a server hosting issue and nothing more.

They haven't bailed on anything, the video is still up, the 9.2 announcement is still up, everything is up except for the coming soon post, which we know is from website error because 2.7 has disappeared too.

I've got a whole slew of games that I'd like to play on the N3DS. Can't play my MH3U cuz of region lock -_-. TBH I wouldn't care about Gateway if it wasn't for Region Locking :/

It is because that browser refreshers took down the GW site for their discontentment of "not releasing new firmware in a few days".

BTW, GW have already postponed their update once before Mar.2014.

It wouldn't matter, making a Copyright claim requires you to own the copyright of something shown in the video, the BAF doesn't own any copyrighted material at all because they're a government body, therefore they filed a false claim.
The BAF in general is just a horrible organization, they go out of their way to make everyone else have a bad day.

My point was more towards GW team's location/time zone.

yeah the BAF just throw copyright claims around like confetti
funnily one of my video's i made back when b2 was bricking consoles, showing that it can brick your console had a copyright claim from them.....you know a video that might even dissuade people from buying a gateway card out of fear
