Gateway never promised a Christmas Day release. They've never given any specific date. It was all just wishing thinking on our parts.

Gateway would never, ever announce a definitive date because there's plenty of absolute nutjobs on the internet (as this thread shows) who would probably kill them all if they missed that date.

They are doing the best thing here in leaving it vague. They said "a few days" and they also said it will be before 2015 - that means it will be out within this week. It could be any time. Just calm down and concentrate on other things in the meantime.

Instead of releasing a video before, I think Gateway should have written a list of the countless activities one can do while waiting for something. Perhaps like that people would have more patience and not be so eager that they control themselves. lol

Spending time with the family and friends crosses my mind quickly especially being this time of year.
TV is always a good option too followed by the several different consoles also available (that you might or might not have). For anyone with a PC, there's tons of stuff to do as well, either playing a game or impatiently commenting on a forum.

Yeah, I hate when that happens. When I'm in a test and I need to concentrate, I privately ask GW to release something so that I can get it out of the way and do the test.
