Well if you look at their website and hover your mouse over the dates of their posts you can see that they already released updates in the middle of the night, so it can happen anytime :-)

Sorry people it's not going to happen today maybe new years. Everyone needs to understand something the 7.x to 9.2 support might have been done weeks ago but gateway will spend the most time locking everything down so card makers like mt-card won't copy it. I wouldn't be surprised if we don't see it till next year. Remember multi-ROM that took forever

They might be using the exploit in Ninjahax that got blocked and Nintendo just so happened to get lucky and blocked two exploits with one stone.

No different from me but its speculation.

No one knows for certain but surely it wouldn't have thought it's the ninjahax.

They said a few days. A few days doesn't translate to after new years. They also mentioned they'd work hard for a day 25th release. If not, surely afterwards (again, a few days).

Also. Multi-ROM was supposed to hit you guys in the beginning of January. It didn't because of their own stupidity with the brick code. They had to delay because they lost A LOT of time fixing other people's bricked 3DS'. Read up bro, everyone throwing around the excuse of Multi-ROM but no one ever actually understood why it took so long in the first place.

We could compare, my timezone is GMT and I get 7:06 PM on the first news post. Which isn't true, as that piece of news probably came a bit sooner or way much later (can't remember which is which.

The Gateway news post below that one shows me as 5 AM'ish. I distinctly remember that as being around midnight (probably 11:50'ish PM) my time, not 5 AM. So there's at least a +5h difference between me and the website.

My Gateway arrived really recently (and I got it in the new cardboard box, bummer ) and I honestly can't deal with the hype

I need the update. nao.

(Though I'm happy as hell it comes with a DS mode cart because I haven't used a flash cart since the AK2i days on my DSi XL. I've been having so much fun playing TWEWY and 999 on my DSL)

So .. Different timezones, same date. It's safe to assume it's a set date then. So in my case, it's +6 hours or so (that 5:49 AM was posted at 11:49PM my time).
