Maybe making something up like your daughter has cancer and you got her a gateway for her to play in her n3ds but the doctors keep saying she's gna die soon and that her death is just around the corner. Never seen any evidence that they're based in Malaysia, on the contrary, I live in that timezone and they always release stuff in the middle of the night. I'm inclined to believe they're located somewhere in Europe.

i think the work on the update has already finished & they're waiting for a certain date to release it. i also agree with sonicx64 they're a european dev team with connections in china to manufacture & distribute the gateway cards.

That "all at once" e-mail was... surprising. So, they reached 4.5-9.0 support on a few days, and they allmost polished it.
I see this "delay" on a different point of view now. If was only this few days, I have no complain about they added 4.5-7.0 and 7.0-9.0 to the promise.

My GW didn't arrive yet, and 20 days pased since it shipped. You guys forecast problems? Or it's only because is Christmass?

Also, I'm fighting with Aliexpress vendors about them selling me fake card. It's very problematic (yare yare daze). They say me to send back the cards, but I want they to pay me the shipping cost PRIOR, 'cos I'm scared they scam me again. I threaten them to report them to Samsung about selling fake products. I don't know what's going to happend. Phew...

I wish they would just release what they have completed so far and continue working on older firmwares as they go. If I remember correctly, their support for 4.5 came before support for 4.1. I was really hoping to finally get to enjoy playing my super stable N3DS by xmas...

If the card is above 32GB, it must be formatted as FAT32 manually.
Apparently the SD card slot in the 3DS can support SDXC but exFAT which is used by SDXC is owned by Microsoft, so they stayed with SDHC or lower. And my guess is that SDXC cards are not FAT32 by default due to its limitations. (Permissions not being present, each file not being able to be bigger than 4GB etc.)

yeah but, like when the site went down last time, the download links where also posted on maxconsole.....so if its released and the site is down just check over there for the links, they will probably be posted there at the same time as the GW site
