People stop your complaining. If we could survive the dreaded 2.0 update wait period then we can wait for this. In all honesty it hasn't been that long of a wait.

That may be true but I never complained or said anything about GW being fake FFS. Thats just crazy talk, I was just excited like everybody else for the upcoming release. When the update is done its done simple as that! Nobody ever said anything about any release dates - everything is a speculation.

This is sooooo true. Not knowing how long you have to wait makes the waiting much worse. People would probably be ok even if they said "Mid January" or something, because at least that would be a specific timeline. Now a bunch of us are left wondering should we buy a sky3DS while we wait for the more fully featured Gateway or its not worth it because its coming soon™. With my luck, I will probably end up ordering a Sky3DS, wait 4 or 5 days for it to come, and Gateway's update will be released the second the card comes through the mail slot.

Im gonna quote Einstein and tell you that "time is relative". Theyll release their product when the time comes, nobody was rushing anyone with buying a GW card. They already made a huge progress by supporting lower firmwares and Im sure when the time comes that not a single person is gonna regret buying it.

You're right, nobody did it, or at least Gateway didn't specifically tell people to buy one at that time. But there was a hype that led to people saying they should buy it before it gets more expensive + people bashing Sky3DS for their lack of professionalism. It's nobody's fault yes, but the choice of getting a product on a promise that it would be usable is perfectly understandable.

All I'm saying is that GW also shows a lack of professionalism for not being clear on purpose. You don't throw news like that expecting people to stay calm and patient if you don't give them an approximation, be it months or years. I can perfectly understand that it takes time AND wait patiently -if- I know it's gonna take quite some time.

When you give money for a project on Kickstarter, don't you get upset if they never release updates of the product you paid for? It's the same case here, you pay for something expecting a product in the near future, but with no ETA. You are perfectly right to be upset of the lack of communication.

Gateway have failed, in the short term at least many of those waiting should have chosen the Sky3ds (for a Christmas 2014 product).

Maybe the MT Group can muster up something - I would like to see that and give Gateway a kick in the teeth that they now deserve.

They have very good communication skills and they responded to every email I sent them and I posted every single response I got on this or the previous thread. Ill say it again the only one being responsible for the people that are mad that the update hasnt come yet are the people themselves! Nobody said anything about any release dates, even when asked they kindly responded that they cant give a release date and not hold up to it since it would be very immature of them.
Again, nobody made you buy GWs card before the release. You are responsible for buying it not them and its on you if you feel disappointed that you bought a card with no release date! People are starting to act like animals for their own mistakes and starting to blame other for them. If youre really that impatient sell it and buy a SKY3DS, if you plan on keeping it suck it up and be a man.

This. It bothers me greatly a team with their experience and ingenuity doesn't have a clue of an ETA. Seriously, they KNEW they'd take this long, why not just say two months aprox. ?

If for some god forsaken reason they finish earlier, even better! Thry' be lauded as heroes and everyone would sing songs of their BS.

That's possibly the worst thing they could do. Imagine giving a release date and them missing it? All the temp noobs on here who have just jumped on the 9.2 bandwagon are already threatening to spam bot email them because they havn't said anything for a few days, at Christmas time. Like their lives revolve around working on gateway. It's kinda ridiculous the reaction of certain users in here. The reason you bought a GateWay is because it's the best card with the most features and actually a proven track record of support. But all I'm reading is, give it us or ill spam bot you and buy a sky 3ds. WTF lol .. Anyway it would be 100x worse if they actually give a date, and for whatever reason missed it. I'm sure they know what they're doing ...

Get Page Monitor (for chrome) and set the Check Interval to 10 minutes, it will autocheck the page each 10 minutes and notify if there's a change (AKA Update)
