The thing that bothers me the most is how people react to them not releasing the update. They didn't make you buy the GW card, you did it out of your own free will. They have not announced a release date because they know they'll be taking longer than expected. The only one you guys should be mad about is yourself for buying an incomplete product.

Well to be perfectly honest, It's not the fact they don't release anything that annoys most of us. It is the fact they said "Soon" on purpose to beat another Team, knowing it isn't true, that it wouldn't be "soon".
"Soon" may be understood differently by people, but when you see that people are getting confused with the word, you should post an update to clarify:
"Hey guys, we're still working on it, you can expect an update in the following months, no ETA though".
Then a month later, they could have said:
"It's a matter of days now".
It would have been a lot better than just dropping a "soon" that doesn't mean anything. I mean they -knew- they were still working on it a month ago and that it would still take quite some time.

So to me, they kind of lied to us, which explain our anger.

Now I am a developer as well, I hate having to give exact dates whenever my boss ask me, but they should at least be able to tell if it's a matter of days, weeks or months.

This. It bothers me greatly a team with their experience and ingenuity doesn't have a clue of an ETA. Seriously, they KNEW they'd take this long, why not just say two months aprox. ?

If for some god forsaken reason they finish earlier, even better! Thry' be lauded as heroes and everyone would sing songs of their BS.

Instead, you're being told "soon" "around the corner", etc.

Having your Gateway is the best and worst feeling. On one hand you finally got the thing, on the other it's completely useless at the moment.

Im gonna quote Einstein and tell you that "time is relative". Theyll release their product when the time comes, nobody was rushing anyone with buying a GW card. They already made a huge progress by supporting lower firmwares and Im sure when the time comes that not a single person is gonna regret buying it.

Gateway have failed, in the short term at least many of those waiting should have chosen the Sky3ds (for a Christmas 2014 product).

Maybe the MT Group can muster up something - I would like to see that and give Gateway a kick in the teeth that they now deserve.

Please let us all pray for their release soon. (Approx 48hours)

And please let us just stop two things for the next 7 days if they don't release:
1. stop argueing about the words "soon" or "around the corner", since "soon" can be felt differently by any individual and "corner" could be a really big round corner.
2. THIS is Important: STOP buying fricking sky3ds since its lame, not future-proof or anything worth its ridiculous price of 75 dollars/euros.
