loyal & reputation don't exists in the flash card world,look at acekard team & many other similar flash card makers who vanished leaving "loyal" fans behind,where is gateway's clone the R4 Deluxe ? with these flash card makers it all depends on how much is their set target for money making is,maybe the Gateway team have reached their money target & beyond maybe they have not & their support will continue until they do.

Horrible examples. Acekard? They died because something better came out. So, nobody wanted to buy it. The Gateway clone? Okay, maybe that's a good example. Still, Gateway hasn't left us in the dark yet. Also? They've done far more than those companies that died. They're still keeping us up to date.

By now it's very likely that gateway is lying, so the question is why not lie by saying you can exploit all firmwares?

People who want a gateway not only have to get one, but have to wait. Most people buying gateway dont just want it for games, either, they want it for all the extra features.
