Wow looks like gateway is becoming sky3ds in terms of service

not really, in my email I provoked them thinking I was going to get the "soon" response, I guess they didnt find it very funny.
the sites back up for me, but it only the closet date is may 2014.
could just be a small team, who does both the website and support plus dev. software. How does sending an email delay their progress? Seems like PR/Support would be a completely different set of people than the ones working on engineering the flashcart. Then again, you could assume Gateway doesn't run like a standard company and all that.
Wait are you srsly comparing north korea with china???This won't work sadly. The communist regimes prefer installing people who suit their beliefs so to keep the government stable. Why do you think Kim Jong Un was installed in Best Korea? He was the perfect figurehead, while the others work and control the behind-the-scenes.
In an ideal situation, you are right. But the world doesn't always spin the way it's supposed to.
I don't think I'm understanding what still needs to be done here. Yes, it was complicated, but clearly what they've done already is perfectly functional as seen in the video, so no more "serious" coding outside of stability should be necessary. Because no one is going to update anyway, it makes no sense to argue that "oh, the sooner they release it, the sooner Nintendo can patch it." Which brings me to my question: why not release what they have as an Alpha build? All developers do this; it's common practice. They should have done that by now, unless, of course, the video was a lie.they're clearly begging the impatient kids to leave them alone & i don't blame them as coding at this level is vey complicated.

It's evident that we are all impatient here, so instead of making it perfect, they should just release what they have and accept feedback from people to make the development an easier process. They prove they aren't liars, appease the community, and increase development in one fell swoop.
Why they haven't done this yet makes no sense to me.
The legends say that, after every 2 weeks from their video release, they launch the products!Im still hoping for a relese date before Christmas... 2 days from now is gonna be exactly one month since they announced their future support. You never know what gonna happen![]()
Yeesh, just as we finally started to get on topic... could you please continue this over PM?Wait are you srsly comparing north korea with china???
The only common sense was their communistic party from which china is getting further away for more than 20 years by now. That is really an upsetting comparison u gave me...
Yeah, but I heard that bricking code was somewhat intentional for Clone FlashCards. :xThey probably don't want to release anything with any sort of bugs. Don't you remember their bricking incident? That wasn't good for their image. They probably want to ensure that the cart is flawless before they allow it on the market, so that they don't get flak for it. Gateway has shown that keeping up support is a priority to them, so they obviously care about their consumer base.

I don't think either country will change if no major revolution happens. Communism is much harder to remove then just time. Eventually people need to face the government they let grow for so long.Wait are you srsly comparing north korea with china???
