i actually really like the look of the standard....but the price difference wasnt enough for me to buy the smaller one without feeling a bit ripped offlol why do you feel lonely now ? but really are you regretting getting the standard size N3DS ?

Yup. It'd also go with, as you said, the necessity to metion that this update runs NATIVELY on 9.x. If it's native to 9.x, I'm pretty darn sure the loophole exists within this specific firmware only.
This would also fly by past the Blue Card as you mentioned.
It isn't all me though, I've been in private conversations with KidIce about this subject and he should be having some speculation-trophy too
Really now? Hmm.. That's interesting.
What I can't believe is that they used Super NES buttons on a new handheld, and didn't call it the Super 3DS.
I just can't get my head around it.
(The standard 3DS's colour buttons are beautiful by the way. I hope I can get them modded into my XL eventually)
I'm guess Super is too 90's to be used nowadays. Even though that'd make MUCH more sense than "New".

metaljayI've made most of my own icons for the dock, have a little OCD lol, just have to sort transmission out.
fun you say that mech, i don't know how to turn it off, so i just cleared my settings? Theres no switch on these...
yeah i'm hoping either the original buttons will fit the XL.(not sure if the button sizes differ though)....or at least there is some third party ones made that are of good qualityWhat I can't believe is that they used Super NES buttons on a new handheld, and didn't call it the Super 3DS.

in all fairness all gateway have said is that their exploit will work for 9.0-9.2, maybe thats all they want to support so they dont have to make a whole bunch of version every time it comes to update time.Yes, Gateway has given confirmation that the exploit doesn't work on 8.X or lower so it's safe to assume something that was introduced in 9.0 is being exploited. Themes or screenshots? Perhaps an exploit similar to the TIFF exploit that was employed on the PSP?
as for me i went for the smaller one not because of the buttons on the face plates although i will buy face plates but because the smaller screens should have better 3D effects (i hope).![]()

nah i have to say playing on a standard 3ds looks a lot nicer than the XL colour's and 3d look much nicer on the original 3d and the 3d was less troublesome with getting the "sweet spot"....im just guessing they will of improved the main issue with the new XL with the head tracking....and have to presume the colour's will be better like the original 3DSOn the old 3DS Systems the 3DSXL 3D effect was actually better than on the normal 3DS because of the bigger screen. The resolution on the normal 3DS may be better because of a smaller screen.
It seems everybody has an XL except me![]()

how? :\ i think that the program the system call to take screenshot have nothing to do with sd card, only saving image in it. theme have data saved, so is much more plausible imo (but i can be pretty wrong ehPossibly something to do with a screenshot or the act of doing a screenshot, holding both buttons.. I dunno.. Something! Maybe taking a screenshot would let the launcher.dat execute something?
oh, good point! I've just tested it too and you are right. And from the hand and finger position where s/he was holding the N3DS it is possible ^^
dang it, so maybe no exploit through Mii Maker ^^"
