I think we could do with a bit more communication from Gateway, but all we can do is wait... and it's not easy.

Anyway, this reminds me of the 2.0 Release. The forums were full of people clamouring that Gateway couldn't or wouldn't release it. And they made us wait months. They received so many emails that they even posted an update. In the end I think they made us wait from October -> December. So probably best to relax and quit hammering F5, it could be a month+ before it drops.

I'd bet it drops before Christmas now that we have a video. But despite what all the retailers want you to believe, it's still a good while until Christmas.

Hold on. You mention months but you say October -> December? I know that's plural for months, but I was expecting a lot more, lol.

Double checked, October 2 to December 1. And Oct 2 was pictures that they had it working.

I believe the most popular rumor over those months were about how Gateway wasn't going to release it, instead, they were abandoning gateway to make a new card so they could charge everyone again for the new hardware.

I think it's worth mentioning, that after they were half-forced to release it early by a leak that there was bug solving revisions and accusations that their buggy update was making 3DS bricks and people were having to mail them 3DS for repair. So given they might be getting angry customers demanding a $400 New 3DS Monster Hunter 4 LL replacement, some bug testing makes sense. Hundreds of games and hundreds of ways for the end user to brick their 3DS doing something Gateway didn't think of or didn't have enough time to test for!
