Considering this is page 1086 can you fill me in on what the post on page 1111 will contain?

Earlier somebody made a funny. (I don't have the page number because I don't bookmark gbatemp pages like some people here)

Anyway, it was something along the lines of:

First letter of Gateway is G.
The last 4 digits of G in binary is 0111.
1000 pages til release.
1000 + 0111 = 1111
Gateway will release page 1111!

is there even a reason why Gary should be telling you stuff? If I were you, I would be satisfied enough to have some new prediction to hope for instead of being in the dark waiting.

at least if it doesn't really happen, you can always wait for the next prediction

Just a note, but the administrator behind [email protected] gets certain updates which aren't exactly frequent updates and it is apparent that said 'administrator' is not 100% in the loop themselves.

However... The person(s) garyopa has contact with are core gateway and he is likely to get a much more accurate time scale from said people. (as it's known, they have things hosted on his server.)

So I don't think it's right to take such a lackluster response to the announcement. This truly should be the time to be HYPED as it's the closest thing we'd probably ever get to the core team actually announcing a release date

It's very likely that it might not even be an email, it could be some system they can IM both ways and posting a screencap/picture may compromise a member/something from the gateway team.

Maybe, GW just said to garyopa: The release should be in 2 or 3 days. Then garyopa announce the 48 hours. If it is ture like this, the 48hous is not that believable.

Or maybe, even GW truely said to garyopa: the release will be in 48hours. What if there is some reason that makes the release delayed? For instance new bugs?

Only one way is trustable: GW's official websit of official email annouce exactly when they will release. But this will never happen. What we can only do is wait patiently.
