Hacking Gateway 3DS 2.0b1 - Warning FW swtiches

when entering System Settings on the DS, and then backing out. It will revert the system to your original FW (For me 4.5E)



this happens and i think is very dangerous as you have no idea it happens unless you check and if you check you still don't know

also this firmware is about 4 out of 5 boots freezing

That thread has hundreds of posts and its easy to miss.

Kudos to OP for making this thread, and hopefully, saving a few people from accidental updates.

They never said going in the settings menu and back out returns you to regular nand.

Well you should be more than aware as if you back out then go back into system settings and there is no GW3D infront of ver number, you arent on EmuNAND, also happens once you update your EmuNAND, if you go back into settings afterwards, it will be SystemNAND, nothing critical as you are always seeing your ver on entry to settings and if you have updated your emunand, why would you even update again, as you would know its the system, and if you get prompts its obvious its not EMu as that is latest ver

I swear people they made a visible flag for you to tell if you are on the emulated Nand if you update your system Nand instead of the 'shadow' Nand you are just an idiot!
