What method did you use to convert the save?

Didn't convert the save. I decrypted it and extracted the first profile with a hex editor.

Same method. Tried with both 1.0 and 1.1. Exactly the same result.

Damn, this is a really bad solution I think I will keep my old 3DS XL with Gateway. And I will buy a Sky3ds for my N3DS. Too bad, because I really would like to also play eshop games on my N3DS.

There's no point. It's not gonna work. Others have just tried it and it won't boot the exploit :-(
