GameStop accidentally lists Spyro Reignited Trilogy for Switch, then quickly removes listing

While a Nintendo Switch version of Spyro Reignited Trilogy hasn't been officially confirmed, it's starting to really look like the game is headed to the Switch, regardless. First, we saw the game listed on Nintendo UK's store page, going so far as to take pre-orders for the game, despite it not existing. A few months later, and Activision's own website listed the game for PC and Switch, before quickly amending it to only show PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Now, for the third time, Spyro has been teased, with GameStop Germany putting a product page up, only to take it down a few hours later. Before it was removed, the listing claimed that Spyro Reignited Trilogy would launch for the Switch on August 16, 2019. Still, nothing has been said by publisher Activision, but a reveal seems imminent at this point.

What I want to know is why it takes forever for these multiplatform games to come to Switch. I understood it for the Wii U partly because a huge lack of sales, but the Switch is selling pretty great and this is the perfect type of game for it.

It genuinely sucks for those of you who only own a Switch to have to wait so long to play Spyro after it's already several months old and on sale on PS4 and Xbox One
it doesnt help switch is arm and both xbox and ps4 are x86 wich means they are basicaly the same codding language while switch needs its own.

wiiu was even worse being ppc.

its the third leak lol, and yeah if it has all 3 games on cartridge i will buy it, fuck ps4 and xb1 releases where only the first 2 games are on disc and you need to download the third one through an update...
Yeah, these download the rest needs to stop. On ps4 there is almost 50gbs on a disc. There is no way the game takes 50gb.
On switch why is it so hard to have a cart game compress some data and then install the compressed data to the sd card. its not hard to do
Pc games always did that when they were on disc and you actually owned the game.

Here's hoping they compress and optimize it well enough to actually fit in a cartridge. (Despite it being unlikely, seeing what they did with the PS4 release...)
