Gaming Games you'd like to be remade

Whats are some games that you played on other consoles, in the past--from older systems that you'd love to have in handheld form?

Me? I'd love Capcom vs. Marvel, Mortal Kombat, Fatal Fury, Claw, and...I cant think of another one

Well, what games would you love to have remade?

This is a thread to talk about what you WISH or WANT to be made on a handheld. Not what is actually possible

H.E.R.O. for me with new levels but the same graphics (well c64 version), sound (Atario 2600 sound)and gameplay (either c64 or Atari 2600).

At the moment the only game that makes me happy.

Said it before for years and i'll do it again... Enix's fantastic ActRaiser. I so want to see that ported or remade on the DS. If remade or a 'good' and proper sequel is made I'd love a way expanded sim element that uses the touch screen to construct with.

None, I have no past with older consoles worth comment (been a long since the NES).

I have a urge to see a few PC games brought into the hand held realm though. Actually quite a long list.

Ultimate Doom remade with PS2 level graphics on the PSP.
Real Sims 2 (not that story mode crap) on either DS or PSP.
SimCity 4 (not the SimCity DS crap) on the DS or PSP

PS2:
Contra Shattered Soldier on PSP
Tony Hawk's American Wasteland on PSP
Tony Hawk's Proving Ground (redone, not an ok port of a bad PS2 remake of an ok game) on PSP
Return to Castle Wolfenstein on PSP
Grand Theft Auto San Andreas on PSP

Other:
Contra (NES/Arcade) remake on PSP
(now this will NEVER happen) Nintendo to give up DS for everything but Brain Age, and develop real games for the PSP.

well, i have marvel vs capcom 2 for my original xbox, so i don't need a remake.

but i'd like to see some earthworm jim ports or remakes (yknow, to accompany the new game, movie, and show coming out)

Gee... that was stolen from my mind as well. I hope so badly it would be made, GSC brings so many good memories

Also, GTA San Andreas on PSP would be... jaw dropping... awesome gameplay and pretty good graphics. AND you need to bring a bagful of UMDs around just to play SA (or have a 16GB mem stick)!

Exactly what I came into the thread to say.. I hope the rumours of a remake atop the D/P engine are true.

There are plenty of other games deserving of a remake though. I would do anything for a Chrono Trigger remake (or Cross). And Deus Ex in high definition would be utter win!

well, about the GSC remakes, you guys should know that http://www.pokemonopal.com http://www.pokemonamethyst.com and http://www.pokemontopaz.com all redirect to the pokemon site, so that could mean a third DP game or a GSC remake.
