I'd have to say the same as you with the exception of Ragnarok and Dragon Quest. I played Ragnarok with the translation patch and the game seemed average to me, and Dragon Quest never interested me.

For me, in addition to what you mentioned...

- Call of Duty: Mobilized
- Whatever the fuck that Okami game is called (Okami Gaiden?)

Well right now I'm waiting on:

- Band Hero. Still not dumped. Explain please.
- Lego Rock Band. See above
- Harvest Moon Sunshine Islands. Less than a week to go.
- CODMW Mobilized. Might be worth a look. The others were ok.
- Phantasy Star Zero. Great looking game, not been able to play yet due to language barrier.
- Fighting Fantasy Warlock of Firetop Mountain. I had a massive collection of the books a while back, I'm curious if this does them justice.

Long term

- Infinite Space
- Sands of Destruction
- Zelda Spirit Tracks
- Ace Attourney Investigations Miles Edgeworth.
- I also heard a rumour of a sequel to Chocobo Tales., I'd quite like that.
- Plenty of translations such as FF Gaiden, etc.

Ragnarok, Phantasy Star Zero, Spirit Tracks, Lego RockBand, Battlefront Elite Squadron, Golden Sun, Dragon Quest, Soul Silver, 3 or 4 fan translations, and that TMNT game for nostalgic purposes. I've finally been forced to clean out the crappy games to make room on my 8GB microSD. Never thought I'd see the day.

No one in the US has gone out, bought the games, and dumped them. Why haven't you dumped them? I haven't dumped them because the two video rental places near me that rent DS games don't carry either of those.

Check the flag. I'm British. I would go out and buy the US games but I'm prevented from doing so by a minor setback in the form of THE ATLANTIC OCEAN. Doesn't matter how good the games are, they're not worth that much of a swim as the commute to game store and home. Especially when said commute contains the very real risk of me getting my bollocks bitten off by a shark. As for the UK roms, my local store says their shipment has been delayed, so even if I was inclinded to spend money on games I can just as easily get for free, I'm not capable of doing so.

I had noticed a distinct lack of activity from the US teams though. Any reason behind it?

I'm sure you could buy them online.

It's just that your "Still not dumped, Explain please." rubbed me the wrong way. Band Hero is $50 at Wal Mart, yikes! Lego Rock Band was $30. I'm not willing to buy either of them to dump them so you can play them. That's my explanation.

I haven't been gaming for such a long time. Been mostly busy with sleep, hardware tinkering and checking GBAtemp frequently.
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
Hope you've had a good morning.
  • Maximumbeans @ Maximumbeans:
It's going alright thanks :) I know what you mean with gaming time. It's precious where I can get it these days.

There's also this thing where I'm hyperfocused at night and cannot get to sleep.

    @Maximumbeans, I'm doing alright, thanks.

That must be rough. Productive I'm sure but hard to balance with daily life

  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
@Maximumbeans, Indeed. I've been working on getting this Infecutus chip to work on my PS2. But after soldering, I realised that a plastic piece was missing from the power ribbon cable to the power and eject buttons.
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
Now I could go with soldering the contacts from the cable to the connector on the mobo, but doesn't sound like a good permanent solution.
  • Maximumbeans @ Maximumbeans:
Man, that's beyond my brain  I'm no good with hardware for now. I'd like to get into hardmods in future though
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
@Maximumbeans, Maybe start practice soldering. Get a cheap-ass soldering iron and follow some good YouTube tutorials.

  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
Least my experience has gotten better than over a decade ago. My iron would constantly bump into components and break them.
  • Maximumbeans @ Maximumbeans:
Sounds good. I actually did soldering but like 16 years ago for school so uuuuh probably rusty haha
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
@Maximumbeans, Same here. I did soldering at school from a teacher who I honestly liked since he had plenty of good electronics experience.

@Maximumbeans, I had a friend who had a glass chess set for their birthday.

It was like all clear and fancy. Tbf I'm not too experienced with chess, but would like to learn someday.

    That sounds really cool
